Dawun J Bio: “This talented producer and MC paints a clear picture of his current reality and one that so many of us strive for.” -Drew Digital DJ Pool (Dj) A one-man music machine and Dallas native, Dawun J first left his mark on the city in 2011, with his single ‘Gotta Lotta Money’ from his then upcoming mixtape, ‘Supper Tyme’. Drawing the attention of several local record labels the wheels were set in motion. A self-taught musician from the age of 7, Dawun’s gift was evident early on penning his first song at age 9. Not only does he spit crazy 16s, he’s a multi genre singer/ songwriter, producer and plays pianist. “Dawun J is next in line, in fact he should skip the line.
