Monique Noriega b.k.a Diamonique is an established rapper, singer, producer, and

audience and rock any crowd. Since the album in 2004 she has released several mixtapes,
features, and singles.
Born in Los Angeles, Ca. and raised in the Inland Empire, Ca. Diamonique always gravitated
towards art and music since a very young age. The first time she had recorded was at age
13, and most people were amazed by the big voice that came out of her little body. By age
15 she was already signed to a production deal with the platinum hit-makers, the Avila
Brothers..
She ended up connecting with several producers and upcoming artists that helped her create
a name in the streets. In 2000 Diamonique linked up with Lunch (Homeless Nation), which
then led to meeting platinum producer Fingazz. Together they contributed and produced her
classic first independent album entitled “Diamond In Da’ Ruff". There were two singles on
the project that caught lots of attention and gained Diamonique respect as a reputable
female MC on the West Coast. They were “Boom Bap ” and “Get It On”. Xzibit then jumped
on the Boom Bap Remix and co-signed her with many radio spins to follow. She was then
dubbed the Queen of the West Coast. After a successful tour across several states,
Diamonique decided to move on and develop a new sound. She then attended The Los
Angeles Recording School to further her knowledge of music. These days she is working
towards developing her brand and company DCPZ. Her skills are precisely sharpened, from
creating a score, to directing videos, and recording music.
Recently acting came into the picture for her, with a supporting role in the feature film "End
Of Watch" directed by David Ayer starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Pena, and America
Ferrera; the film was released in theaters summer of 2012. Diamonique has also written
music for the “Down For Life” soundtrack and the opening track for a film called “Filly Brown”,
produced by Cima Productions and Edward James Olmos. She has done voice over work for
the video game "Grand Theft Auto V". She has written and performed the end title song for a
film called "Killer Holiday". Her song called "Yes I Do" also just recently got placed in a new
film called "The Bounce Back" starring Shemar Moore, directed by Youssef Delara. This
summer she will be touring once again to promote her latest single "Got Played", produced
by herself along with platinum producer Fingazz. Diamonique is in her own lane and will
continue to create unique art in many different ways.
