One of First Degree The D.E.'s lives is spent as a high school math teacher. In 2016, The D.E. was recognized as National University's Teacher Of The Year, after receiving his Master's degree in Global Teaching Strategies.
In his other life, First Degree spends his days in studios, concert halls, over the airwaves, and traveling the country as a 25-year underground rap legend. As of late, First Degree is most known as a D.J. on Fahrenheit Radio. Fahrenheit Radio, listened to in over 75 countries, features 24 hours a day of rap, instrumental music, and urban talk shows. As an artist, First Degree The D.E. is one of the pioneers of Sacramento rap music. He has toured and recorded with E-40, Mac Dre, Andre Nickatina, Brotha Lynch Hung, Tech N9ne, and other hip hop legends.
