Germany Jayy was born 3rd oldest of 8 children as Jermaine Shinholster on October 26, 1994 in Detroit, MI, is an American R&B singer-songwriter with a soulful idiosyncratic voice. From birth, Germany was exposed to the music scene from his Mother who started out in a Girl R&B group with Joya Owens in the early 90's. From that point on, Germany has been singing and writing songs. In 2015, Germany Jayy started to pursue his singing career by performing at local events and weekly Karaoke bars in the Detroit area. While building confidence and gaining crowd support all over the city, Germany is set to release his first independant single titled "Tonight" in January 2018.
