Kamilo started rapping with friends at Northeast High School, where he played basketball and won a "state birth" in track & field. He graduated from his high school in 2005 and enrolled in the University of Tennessee (UTK), in the same year. Kamilo dropped out of UTK to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams, in 2006. However, he returned in 2009 and eventually was accepted into the university's college of business. He excelled through the college, and worked a short stint as an event manager. While working in his local business community, he quietly returned to rap and was quickly discovered by Jesse Jones. However, Kamilo claims he was fired from his job less than two hours after recording his song, "Money over Everything". All lyrics of Money Love EP were written by Kamilo. He intends to debut this mixtape during his live show in Nashville with Cory Gunz, on August 18th '18.
