Vocalist and skilled musician Leo Amari is branching out as a solo artist and fully prepared to show the world what his multi-faceted talent has to offer. The Maryland native started as a keyboard player for a few Go-Go bands in the D.C. metropolitan area during his middle school years. Leo Amari was then influenced by artists like Lil’ Wayne and Eminem. Their musical style and beat choices encouraged him to develop into a producer during his high school years.
As a former member of the critically acclaimed boy group 4EY The Future, Leo Amari has had a two year whirlwind of excitement and opportunity. He had the opportunity to perform at every major arena in the D.C metropolitan area. His first show was at the Verizon Center in front of an audience with upwards of 15,000 guests. Leo also put on an amazing performance at The BET Experience in Los Angeles CA in 2015. He has since returned a second time in 2016, now more seasoned with an extensive fan base and respected as successful break-out Pop artist. Leo Amari has been highlighted at the iHeart Media presentation as well as the radio one blitz. His first hit single with the group “Scoot Ova”, has graced airwaves both locally on WKYS 93.9 FM and WPGC 95.5 as well as nationally. The feedback has been tremendously positive and fueled a major dance craze. Leo Amari has also been an inspiration to thousands of youth, spreading music and wisdom to various high schools across the USA during the 4EY Fandemonium Tour.
Leo Amari has worked with many skilled songwriters and producers including Yung Berg (Hitmaka), the young, Grammy nominated producer/songwriter who has worked with the likes of Jason Derulo, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj Lil’ Wayne. Yung Berg has left his special “Hitmaka” touch with tracks like “No Time To Waste” featuring recording artist Wale, “Forgive or Forget” and “Dem Pants” featuring recording artist Kid Ink. Leo has also been blessed with innovative beats and/or lyrics from producers Drumma Boy who has produced for artists such as Juicy J, August Alsina and Drake, Zaytoven who has attributed to Future, The Migos and Gucci Mane’s sound, Lee on the Beats who has provided many hit songs for DJ Khaled, Yo Gotti and Chris Brown.
Leo Amari’s immense talent has proven in a short period of time that hardwork, dedication and faith can turn passionate dreams into a beautiful reality. The young entertainer is anything but complacent and his determination continues to open doors for infinite possibilities.
