Tycho Cassini aka Young Bobby Ross is making some serious buzz with his recently released album, ‘New Season: The Simulation of Young Bob Ross’. This is as cutting edge as rap and hip-hop could possibly get, and more excitement is in store for the fans of this upstate New York sensation. Only this year, Tycho Cassini signed up with Genius Minds Entertainment, an affiliate of Rapper Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group. The 24 years old is now a full time rapper and song writer, doing away with ghost writers and devoting countless hours listening, writing and creating a new future for hip-hop and rap. The ‘New Season’ mixtape released on November 7, and there is no stopping Tycho in the coming year. Early 2018 will see an EP with features from MMG artist Cozy With the Curls and QC artist Lil Yachty. On the anvil is a second mixtape, ‘Deuce Season’. Tycho also intends to feature on the XXL Magazine’s 2018 or 2019 Freshman Class and has set his eyes on performing at events such as SXSW and his dram stage, Coachella. All of this will hopefully bring Tycho to realize his biggest dream, to rap with idol Lil Wayne, someone who Tycho has looked up to since he could remember. Tycho’s real name is Gage Langstaff, who aspired to become a musician since he was six. Growing up on hip-hop thanks to his father who was a radio host, he was raised by his single mother. Gage recorded his first song at the age of nine after his father returned to mentor his musical career.
