Powerman Analyst Begins ‘A New Day’
When it comes to striving to reach one's goals, most believe in the sentiment "go big or go home." Powerman Analyst is one of those people. Over the next few years he plans on releasing not one, not two but rather 10 albums. While that's a feat he has yet to reach, what he has done is drop his latest single, "A New Day," which is available on over 40 online stores including iTunes and Tidal. Before he had his name everywhere though, he was just a boy with a dream.
As a kid he found himself immersed in the hip hop culture thanks to KRS One and Canibus. At a young age the realm of rhymes took hold of him and he was quite the fan. It wasn't until he reached the mid-90's that he started to think he could become more than that though. That was when he started to master his craft, work on his own rhymes and start making his presence known on a local level. Today he plays in and around Boston, MA at places such as Strand Theater, Boston University, live on their Channel 3 - just to name a few. While locally grown, he is striving to reach internationally known as his career progresses and he maps out the next few years that'll be chalked full of new music.
Right now "A New Day" is the lead single that can be found on Powerman Analyst's debut album that shares the same name, which is currently getting the final touches all done up. He plans on dropping that and not too long after, starting up his own label; Nobility Music. That's because he is an artist that is all about working with others and spreading the talent near and far. Music is a global thing, so why not embrace artists from everywhere? Powerman Analyst just wants to create the best with the best.
As far as the best he's created, his latest single "A New Day" touches on one of the most prominent movements in recent years; Black Lives Matter. His other track "Lynching" also follows that same mentality, while "Relationship Goals" has a more lighthearted joint he penned because he felt, "There are too many I cheated on you hit singles out to date." Social awareness, be it race or relationship based, is the core of Powerman Analyst's music and showcases a well thought out man and artist. Other than his music, he hopes to be a role model in his community and with music like he's creating - he is well on his way.
Powerman Analyst started out as many in music do, as a fan who thought one day that he could do that too. So he started getting to work some two decades ago and has not stopped for one second as he's grown on a local level, but it's time to take it global as he prepares for the release of his debut solo record and the start of his new label.
Listening to the likes of KRS One and Canibus growing up, Powerman Analyst found himself immersed in the hip hop culture so much so that come the mid-90's he knew it was time to start doing more than just listening. So he picked up a pen and soon a mic and found himself transforming from a fan into an artist, and over the past two decades he's grown into a social conscious emcee who takes on race and relationships with well thought out lyrics and delivery like in his latest single, "A New Day," which was inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement. With that, he has a new album on the way of the same name as well as the start of his label, Nobility Music.
