Being the product of a generation that has been given task of fixing a world on the brink, RCX has become many things: A producer, a musician, and a voice for what must change. His career with music began in high school and with the simple creation of lyrics and melodies that paved a path to the stage. Musical studies while in college brought him a deeper understanding of the underlying principles and management of sound. Using these skills he worked with at risk youth, using hip hop to connect with and guide them to a better future. Upon graduation, he brought his experience to Joliet, Illinois where he allied with the popular local label known as Smoke'm Records. With Smoke'm Records he was able to test and explore the hip hop world, opening for artists such as iMayday!, Kutt Calhoun, and Liquid Assassin. He fully tapped into his ability as a producer, learning to work with a diverse range of artists from all backgrounds and genres. Now with a desire to extend the reach of Smoke'm Records and become a force in the Dallas music scene, he is forging his explosive Texas debut. Everything is bigger in Texas, and RCX is here to Smoke'm.
