2 Chainz' newest, featuring A$AP Rocky and the ever-popular Rick Ross is a clever twist on the common rap claim to millions more dollars than you'll ever have. "Crib in My Closet" has potential to mean a variety of things, and these guys capitalize on all ideas with their rhymes. The most easily understood, based on the hook, is that their closets are full of "all designer shit, I got a crib in my closet, bitch," suggesting that the gear in these rappers' closets is worth enough money to buy a house. Just as easily, they want us to know how big their closets are, big enough to house an entire "crib," which only serves as a further testament to both the size of their homes and the amount of "all designer shit" they own. Over an ominous beat, these three combine well together to create a song we can bounce to or ride to or brag to or dream about.
