2 Chainz ft Young Thug
Dresser (Dirty)

genre: Hip-Hop
length: 3:48
bpm: 55
key: 9d

September 22, 2014

Following his relatively recently released EP, "Freebase," 2 Chainz is back with another ode to the streets in "Dresser," featuring the ever-popular Young Thug. Essentially, "Dresser," also referred to as "Lil Boy," due to the second part of the song referencing a kid in a misery made of "rat-infested hallways," is a testament to the fact that, despite their success in the rap game, both 2 Chainz and Young Thug still hold it down in the street life they've always known. Still wheeling and dealing, strapped with assault rifles in a Tesla, these two still have a few ladies on the street, most notably Monica and Teresea, charged with the task of bringing some money to the dresser, which explains how 2 Chainz has a band on before he even has his breakfast. Undeniably, the rise to the top in the game of hip-hop often involves engaging in some seedy behavior, but 2 Chainz and Young Thug were so good at this life they've refused to leave it behind, even in the face of financial success from elsewhere.
