Daft Punk ft Jay Z
Computerized (Dirty)

genre: Pop
length: 4:37
bpm: 109
key: 10m

March 27, 2014

What do you get when you throw two of the biggest names in music together? Well, after standing well back and waiting for the boom, you get Computerized, a genius collaboration between rap legend Jay-Z and robots-of-the-moment Daft Punk. An offshoot from the latter’s newest album, Random Access Memories, which lays claim to last year’s uberhit Get Lucky, the song features some previously unreleased Jay-Z lyrics and the typical neo-electronica of Daft Punk. The number has received a great response so far, and with good reason- after all, Jay-Z has been in the game so long now that this sort of guest verse must be second nature to him. You’ve got a great clash of clever lyrics, tight music, and a slick delivery that leaves all of us wondering how the hell this didn’t make it on to the album.
