Turn It Up (Dirty)

genre: Reggae
length: 3:40
bpm: 128
key: 7D

October 23, 2013

EDM (Electronic Dance Music) is not new, but it has been enjoying a significant increase in visibility and reach in the last few years. Many non-EDM artists are capitalizing on the trend, and dancehall reggae star Sean Paul has joined the ranks with his single "Turn It Up". Bringing his signature patois flow to the pulsing, energetic sound that EDM is known for, Sean Paul seems well-suited to the switch-up. "Turn It Up" will appear on Sean Paul's sixth studio album "Full Frequency" which is due to drop on Nov. 4th. The album will feature guest appearances from Damian Marley, Iggy Azalea, Nyla Of Brick & Lace, Konshens, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz & Juicy J. Check out "Turn It Up" below and you won't need the heat anymore. Huh? Autumn chill? What's that? There's also a video below with lots of dancing girls and Sean Paul rocking a mohawk that makes him look like Bebop from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Seriously, all he's missing is the sunglasses, but I digress. Written by Stephanie Vaughn
