Henry E. Simpson - CEO Henry Simpson is a record executive with over 25 years in the business. He has created, developed and managed countless musical careers i.e., Mojo, FX, Selah2 and most recently Lafayette Reed and the list goes on. He started in the industry during the late 1970’s with Funk City Record Store, thereby, developing his marketing strategy in the local Atlanta community. He later expanded on this concept by hosting parties and concerts at local clubs i.e. the Sans Souci in Atlanta and City Limits in Athens, GA. He initially started Velvetone Records with partner Geno Jordan. Hits created on this record label were, Peachtree Freak by Geno Jordan and Master Lover by Princess and Star Breeze. He later launched LibraCorn Records and released hits such as Ain’t Nobody Better and Don’t Give Your Love to a Stranger by artist Roubaix. In 1985, Henry started a rap label called Jam The Box Records. This label introduced the chart-topping Jump, Stomp and Twist by MoJo. For the 21st Century, Henry has restructured his entire organization by forming 3N1 Music Group and 2112 Entertainment Group LLC, which consists of 5 sub-labels and a production company. • Simp Simpson Productions will spearhead the production aspect of all musical releases created under the 2112 Entertainment Group umbrella. • Connoisseur Records is the R&B division. Lafayette Reed will be the first artist to release on this label. His album, I’m Ready, is set to release spring, 2001. • JTB Records will produce and market Gospel music. Selah2 will be the first artist released on this label. The release date is set for summer, 2001. • 2112 Records is the Hip-Hop division. Tony Mack is the first artist to release on this label. His album release date is set for fall, 2001. • Peach City Records is the Adult Urban Contemporary sound division, with no release scheduled to date. • All Metro Entertainment, with no release scheduled to date, will focus on Hip-Hop and R&B markets. Henry Simpson has proven himself to be a natural born leader. He has maintained his musical empire while sustaining a full-time job. His work ethic is relentless and his attention to detail is impeccable. He operates his business with tact and sheer wisdom.
