A mere month or two after the premier of her original, "All I Ever Wanted," Teedra Moses enlisted Mr. Rose himself, Rick Ross, to add a little more flare to her remix by the same name. Interestingly, instead of catering to her needs, Ricky chooses to brag about his money and what he can give her as a lover, never including the only thing she actually wants: love. Rick basically drives home the idea that men feel women can be bought and neglect to give them the time and love they actually need. The addition of his verse to Teedra's original serves to secure the song as anything but a love ballad. Instead, "All I Ever Wanted" is an expression of frustration on the part of women everywhere, only made stronger by Rick's attempt to impress her with dollar signs and fancy things.
