With the influx of upcoming summer music and dance festivals, Deadmau5 has released a new track, "Seeya" featuring Colleen D'Agostino that weighs in at nothing short of perfect for such occasions. Deadmau5 spins us a catchy beat, taking an example from turntable veterans, Daft Punk, with his beats and unique synth ditties, and he couldn't have picked a better voice for this new song. Colleen's dreamy vocals match well with the idea behind the song as well as with the spacey, technologic vibe. Like lots of techno/house songs, "Seeya" centers around the idea of escaping the real world into a fantasy land where the listener is the hero, though whether the song actually refers to sleep or drug use is debatable. Rounded out with a techno mashup from the DJ himself, this 6 minute track was made for dancing.
