Up and coming artist Casey Cook is back with Grain Of Salt. A slow, sparse, EDM influenced ballad. Over a minimal intro, just one-note sustained guitar, we're introduced to Casey's beautiful, vulnerable voice. The backing builds up slightly with finger clicks and sparing drums, but Casey's voice is the star. There are EDM style instrumental breaks, but they're still slow and sparing. The distorted robot vocals on the chorus are a great touch as well. Casey is already conquering the dance floor, now she wants to get in our heads.
