One of two new releases from a collaborative EP, Opiuo and Shapeshifter's "Slug a Bug" is a bass-heavy, upbeat funk track with a little bit of everything a good song needs. In collaboration with the high-energy music, the video for "Slug a Bug" follows an interesting plot line featuring an actual shapeshifting blob of blue trouble.
With a few quick strokes of the pen (and a few zzz's), the video's feature artist sets in motion a series of destructive adventures, even if destruction only means wrecking a toy truck, causing a little old-school TV trouble, and splitting our artist's drawn-representation of himself in two. Fortunately, this artist dreams in vivid sound and his efforts at procrastination have provided us with an irresistible track any music fan can find pleasure in. Here's to daydreaming!
