In the world of fine art, being literal is something that is often frowned upon. The opposite can be said for good club music. A track that tells the crowd exactly what to do and has the chops to make them do it is not easy to come by. Enter Make It Clap by Reid Speed and J Rabbit. The song starts off with a semi-familiar twerk step, and the G rated suggestion to do some clapping. But when the grimy synths come alive and the bangin' west coast bass slaps you silly, you're driven to do things that even the coolest of mother's wouldn't approve. Funkdafied drop-outs and surprise glitch edits keep the song moving from beginning to end and before you know it, the tata's are showing. Whoops.
The good folks at Play Me Records, always bust their tata's out and drop some of the illest crossover tunes available. If you like electronic music you can play at hip-hop clubs and vice versa, do yourself a favor and check their full DJ Pool selection.
