Born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin, singer/songwriter Travis J has extensive experience working behind the scenes - writing, publishing, recording and performing in various genres from R&B to Jazz and Gospel/CCM. He has participated in both live and studio projects with a large variety of artists including platnum selling artists such as Hillsong and Darrell Evans. Stepping out to pursue a solo career, in 2017, Travis J began writing and performing songs that reflect the styles and soulful sounds that come natural to him. Often performing from behind a piano, those sounds have been resonating in the urban music scene of Milwaukee. Reflecting on his recent success, Travis J says, "Music communicates what's inside and even how honest we are. No matter what's happened in my life, music has always been what's brought me back. I love getting to share it with people." In the last few months, his music has been catching the ears of influential artists and producers in the area - leading him to collaborate with MT, Emazon, Devito, Meech, and others. Travis J's first single, "I'll Wait" (produced by Malachi Mott) will be released worldwide on Sept. 23 through all major digital outlets.
