When you're the champs at what you do, you become highly in demand. And that is especially true if you're the running 3x champs at the World DMC Team tournament. For the French trio 9 O'clock, the journey to three belts in a row wasn't easy. But since they put in the work, now Mr Viktor, Aociz, and DJ Hertz get to enjoy the spoils. And that includes invites to Guinness Book of World Record breaking events like the one this last month in Paris. 128 DJs, including some "mysterious" guest DJs, broke the record for the most freestyle scratches in succession with one beat. And to help commemorate the day, the DMC champs opened up with a portion of their 2015 DMC Finals winning routine based around the Beastie Boys' "Intergalactic."

9 O'clock has become the team to beat not just for their technical skills but also because they're musicians in their own right who can compose new music from what already exists. In the interactive video below, while DJ Hertz handles the background beat, Aociz takes the "Intergalactic" sample, and Mr. Viktor takes the acapella, a mini band is formed. They are in sync at times and then at other moments, add their own flair that meshes with the other DJs. Despite where they are in the routine, all of three of them bring it all back together on a dime. The climax comes when Mr. Viktor uses two turntables to slow the entire routine down, going back and forth between the two. They end with a quick call and response before receiving a round of applause.
