Description Have you heard the catch phrase “East meets West”? Well if you haven’t then you are for certain to hear and know it now. Monkey King and Koala Bear are a music making duo based in New York City that makes music reflecting all aspects of Eastern and Western cultures past and present. At any given moment you will hear within their music an ancient Japanese instrument strumming, then the next moment you will hear an Acieed Techno riff, and then after all of that, you will hear a soothing Classical Violin. So when we say “East meets West” with Monkey King and Koala Bear we mean exactly that. All production, arrangement, and vocals are performed by this duo but also they enjoy collaborating with other well versed musicians and featuring them on their releases.
