Music lives inside of this American Hip-Hop Duo called Bloc Burnaz well known in their hometown Cleveland Ohio for their creative sound and energetic shows. The two demand their spot in the music industry. Nicholas "Nic Swagga" and Ricky "Exalt" Holmes started off making beats and dropping free mixtapes for the streets but didn't gain their buzz until 2011 with the release of "Lunchtime" period 1. This was the first entry to a series of video's consisting of an onslaught of random beats and witty lyrics. In 2012 they dropped their first album "Whats That u Playin" with records produced by ; Exalt and K3 Beats of BB Entertainment and Terry T of Terry T Productions. From the arrangement to the confident approach and unique production, "WTUP" set itself in a league of its own. The two started performing in underground shows separating themselves from the rest of the local scene. Their stage presence is often compared to Run DMC because of their great chemistry. This attracted the attention of promoters and club owners who soon began booking Bloc Burnaz for over thirty show throughout the midwest region. In 2013 "On Fire", the first single off "WTUP", gained national and international recognition through radio, clubs. live performances and Dj's. This smash record is a clear view of their creative approach to music with its unique sound coined "Dat Bounce" which features elements of HIp-Hop, Gangster Rap, Pop, and Funk.
