Born March 20th 1992 in rural Kentucky, music has always been a big part of his life along side many other forms of art as well. Daniel(dazE) grew up rhyming and putting words together in his head that rhymed or sounded good together but never showcased this ability because a white kid from rural America doesn't stand a chance in this industry, right? He thought so, until one day while at his 9-5 waiting tables he popped off a free-style for a group of co-workers and they were really impressed, letting dazE know he should see where this ability could take him. He started learning more about production, bought some gear and began recording in a home studio. That was November 2017 and here we are 4 months later with nearly 8k hits on sound cloud from one single alone. Here are some personal words he wanted to share with his current fanbase as well as the fans just recently joining the ranks.
First off I just want to say thank you to all of the support and backlash Ive received, both are major tools in building myself as an artist as well as my sound. Still finding my sound in a lot of aspects, but Ive come a very long way in a few months time, music is the universal language and hip hop has always been my go to music for everything. My favorite mainstream artist would have to be Lil Wayne, Cardi B, Eminem, Kevin Gates, Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, Tu Pac, Notorious, NWA, NF, MGK, DMX etc. But I've also got just as much respect for independent artist such as Brabo Gator, Jelly Roll, Lil Wyte, and so forth. The way I look at art is its all whatever you want it to be. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. Wither or not you like what I put out doesn't really sway me much as I love what I do and put everything I have into it, I'm still growing and I know there is always room to improve, I am blessed beyond comparison for the life I have and the artistic abilities God has given me. Im always down for features and collaborations because combining talent is one of the most fulfilling aspects of music, so hit me up if you have any ideas!
