Some people don't have them. They don't know what it feels like. They walk through life searching aimlessly for their purpose...their calling...some sort of vision. It's true—some people don't dream. I'm sure life circumstances account for this lack of dreams. You know, being from these American hoods, where hopelessness and despair rob young and old from the ability to dream. But whatever it is, some people have no real dreams for themselves. Then there are those that do dream. You know, those of us with the wicked jump shots and rhyming in the hallways. Those of us telling jokes on the stoop or singing at church. Yeah that's us—the DREAMERS.  We are the ones that chase our dreams through unopened windows. We know what it means to be naïve in a world full of possiblities. This is our story—the story of what it means to chase your dreams.   Young Hopper's Law states that “The window is a portal that allows us to view moments in others lives that reflect our own.” I invite you to peek into my window. This ain't the story of somebody with no dreams or no hope just stuck in the hood. You can watch The Wire for that.  It is about what it means to follow a dream that only one in a million people actualize. What you know about being addicted to a dream? Having a passion that is so strong that even when you say you're done, it keeps pulling you back. This is about what it means to build a team—not just a crew, a forreal team—people with marketing degrees, graphic designers, managers, PhDs, with the most innovative ideas in the world.   The idea of success feels random as hell. There's no formula. No rules. No guidelines. We keep trying. We keep hoping. Even though there is a part of us that's saying " What’s the point?" This is the story about what it means to be almost on. That's what this story is about. It's for the DREAM CHASERS. Those of us on the edge of creation. Welcome to The Windows Theory. It can mean whatever you want it to mean, but for me, right now, it means that if the door won't open me and my team climbing through each and every  window.
