You can define them as freaks. Music freaks so to say. Producers Binkbeats and PRY have known each other for about ten years, and have been making music since then. Hip hop off course, this Dutch duo never shy away from a good beat. Their style can be described as beats in the spirit of the Native Tongues Movement, mixed with Stones Throw, MF Doom and Ninja Tune. Raw and dark, or light and joyful. The Strangest Freaks can turn beats into a full instrumental song by adding samples, or their own played instruments. As musicians The Strangest Freaks have the advantage and ability to colour their songs with bass, guitar & synths (PRY) or a wide arsenal of percussion (Binkbeats).
