Geisha has been influenced by the greats before her such as Tina Turner, TLC, Method/Redman, and many others. One thing these artists have in common with Geisha is their aggressiveness and ability to dominate a stage with their presence and high energy. Geisha doesn't appear to be as vocal as she is with her music when you first meet her which makes her music all the more interesting. At first listen the begging question is who is this girl; where did she come from and why haven't we seen more of her. Geisha is being strategically guided and developed allowing her to focus on improving her writing skills giving her the ability to write catchy, fun, aggressive, and danceable music without losing its substance.
