Avicii's new video for "Waiting for Love" is a feel good clip if I've ever seen one. Set to his breakdown of how the week goes without love, the "Waiting for Love" video features an elderly man whose true love disappears, after which he soon sets out on a journey to find her. Like the lyrics in Avicii's track, featuring Martin Garrix, the video's protagonist experiences his fair share of setbacks, from a burnt-up wheelchair to a branch too big to move, but like life and love, eventually someone always comes along to help him.
In a society where we're faced with hate constantly, it's so refreshing to hear the words, "If there's love in this life, we're unstoppable," accompanied by the heart-warming images of a fun, head-over-heels old man searching for his true love for the second time in his life. I could tell you if he finds her, but then you'd miss out on all the goodness that is the "Waiting for Love" video.
