Seems like all to often, we hear a club song and know what to expect. Here comes the build-up..Yup, and then some bass..Yup, a squeaky element. Yup, add in couple "HEY!"s and we've heard it all before. Thankfully, cutting edge producers around the world are picking up on the fact that folks are over of the same tired sounds. Case in point is 'Fusion' by Furn & BMO. It's starts off as many house tracks do with plenty of calm before the storm. Along comes the build up, which is massive and leads you to believe there is a wall of electro waiting to smack you silly at the end of the rainbow. But alas! The drop has plenty of bass, but minus the screech factor that would keep it strictly for festival use. What the song lacks in grit, it more than makes up for with a heavy funk / disco vibe that combines with elements of Future House for a generation bending club banger that will surely work it's way into John Travolta's wildest dreams. This one can follow you to just about any dance party, large or small and is an encouraging sign as to what's ahead as producers seek out new (and old) ways to spice up a track.
