As music culture evolves, we're finding more and more artists using flashy remix techniques in original productions. Instead of dropping traditional tracks and waiting for DJs to make the club version, folks are featuring those club sounds and catchy glitch edits in the initial release. Much like any forward thinking technique there will be those who do it well and those who, well...A great example of how to do it right is 'Distortion' by J Sutta. The airy vocals are top notch and speak of doing things their own way. This message isn't lost on the producers who reply in kind by implementing massive bass drops and quirky edits in lieu of a traditional chorus.
