Everybody wants to create a new genre. Just as Dave Nada will always be synonymous with Moombahton, producers and labels clamor to coin that next viral catch-phrase to describe a previously unheard style of music. So when we came across Rnbass and their impressive catalog, we figured the name was just a marketing hook. But after getting the promo for Kyle Christopher's 'Make em Like You", we've been feeling like this name might really need it's own classification. The immaculate production by G. Foster combine with Kyle's flawless delivery to give every element of a quality RnB number. But surging moments and head nodding beat drops usually more associated with electronic music are implanted throughout the track. So could this be the genuine rise of a new household genre? Only time will tell, but if they keep makin' em like this it's a strong possibility.
