Robot Koch is a veteran musician, originally from Berlin, now residing in LA. He's back on the scene with Freeplay. Deep house, deeper than the Marianas Trench deep. It starts with a sparse piano chord and some hand claps, and keeps the organic, minimal vibe throughout the track. Even when the machines start to take over the track, it still sounds natural. Deep, distorted vocals and breathy stabs add color to the track, but this is a tune that takes its time. It's built for the head as well as the feet.
