If you've ever considered becoming a mainstream DJ who regularly performs on festival circuits and at major clubs while preserving the sacred code of turntablism, take notes on Jayceeoh. His production has caught the attention of A-Trak, Diplo, and The Bloody Beetroots. He's put out music on Ultra/Sony Music, Buygore Records, and Atlantic Records. Technically speaking, he won the Master of the Mix in 2013 and has music credits for HBO's Boardwalk Empire. It doesn't stop there. Jayceeoh has become the brand ambassador for SOL Republic headphones and has been curating the Super 7 mixtape series for five years now. Although he's expanded his resume to branch into various forms of entertainment, he's stayed true to rocking parties the right way.

With a couple of California state control vinyls back in his hometown, Jayceeoh takes us to square one in the studio, with a twist, to when he created his latest hit, "Turn Me Up Some." He deconstructs and freestyles a new version of the song with a Serato DJ Club Kit, a Pioneer DJM-900NXS, a DDJ SP1 controller, two Technics, and two CDJ-2000NXS. He demonstrates the beauty of being able to DJ and reimagining your own song by picking moments to scratch a Method Man sample or hit the controller to come up with a new segment. When you go to see a DJ set, you don't just want a louder version of what you can play at home. You want a unique experience and that's what Jayceeoh delivers right here.

You can get your copy of his single, "Turn Me Up Some" featuring Redman and Jay Psar right here in our record pool.
