Remember back in the day when everyone cool had an active screensaver that interwove mesmerizing colored lines to keep all their secrets secret? The Chemical Brothers clearly do, as evidenced by the video for the first track off their debut comeback album. "Sometimes I Feel So Deserted" pairs a simple, yet catchy, series of musical loops with a hopeful message to anyone with similar feelings, "Sometimes I feel so deserted, but hold on 'cuz help is on the way."
Rather than subtract from their newest addition to the EDM world with confusing or complicated graphics, The Chemical Brothers opted to throw it back last Thursday and resort to a variety of slinky kaleidoscope designs in vibrant greens and blues to supplement their art for the ears and remind us all that they're kings of the electronica scene. Hard to deny with a comeback like this!
