If you want to become one of the biggest artists in dance music, it's not going to happen simply by copying what everybody else is doing. So when you make your own sound, kill the game, and then everybody starts copying it, what next? Well in the case of the dominating force of Bass that is Br!llz, it's evident that he's ready to experiment with new sounds and isn't afraid to shake up the apple cart if it means pushing forward musically. His new single 'We Bring the Fire' features a departure from common trap sounds and themes like "bounce that booty" and "tweak that arse". Rather, the track has more of a an industrial feel and when the drop comes, we are treated to a grinding synth that's usually more at home around 130bpm. Fear not though, as Heavy Metal vocals provided by Drones ensure that the energy is right and this aggressive twist on mid-tempo doesn't feel out of place. Toward the end, he throws in one of his more trademarked half-tempo drops that lets you know he still carries the torch for more 'traditional' bass music. So if you'd like to throw up some devil horns at your next set, we suggest you look no further than this sure fire summer banger. (Pun intended)
