Description
3099 is the alternate identity of APRIME, the emcee 1/2 of smooth Milwaukee hip-hop duo AUTOMatic. After taking time to reflect on the music AUTOMatic has made since their debut album released in 2008, APRIME decided to venture outside of the traditional classic hip-hop sound he was known for. What was born out of those solo sessions is his alter-ego 3099 and music that is based largely around synths and R&B flavor. The witty raps are still present, but the project is a bold step toward another way of presenting APRIME's songwriting capabilities. "Ostinato" features the very talented R&B crooner Lex Allen and is the lead single from the AUTOMatic Presents 3099 EP.
