Embracing change as an established figure in your field is important if you plan on staying relevant. For 2005 UK DMC champ and 4x UK DMC finalist DJ Muzzell, that hasn't been an issue. He's incorporated new controllers and mixers into his sets that allow him to scratch and live produce at the same time, and he's also stayed on top of his production game, sporadically releasing new original music under various genres.
There's either ample or barely any information on you on the internet, as a DJ. It depends on what kind of person you are. For DJ Muzzell, he lets his hands do the talking on the turntables. With a Pioneer DJM S-9 mixer handy, Muzzell kicks up the difficulty and creativity of live cue point drumming with this routine. Not only does he come up with a tricky drum rhythm on the triggers, but he also uses the fader and turntable to add to and modify the beat. He quickly cuts into various rhythms like it was a live jam session with other musicians. We're confident that he could hold his own in a Jazz group as the drummer. Then about halfway through, Muzzell takes a slight break to jump into a faster breakbeat. By using just the cross-fader with the triggers, he creates a double time sample on the spot to fit the new beat. The precision of the drum fills and fader movements are impeccable. Even the reigning DMC Visual DJ Champion DJ Irie praises Muzzell's imagination in the comment section. And it doesn't hurt when Craze likes one of your other routines as well.
