This single from the 1st solo effort of AUTOMatic's emcee APRIME under his alternate personality's name 3099 is closer to House and Grime/Garage than the "Big Beat" drums on single "Ostinato" and funk synth on the project cut "Playing With My Mind." "Wastin' Time" is a song which sees 3099 stretch his legs into a completely different direction and is a humorous exploration of the thoughts that go through someone's head after a break up. Do I allow myself to be sad or do I go hit the clubs and go HAM? In the new single, 3099 decides to hit those clubs and act a complete fool.
