He also lived several years in Atlanta, Georgia and Cedar Rapids, Iowa; but he never loss touch with his R&B/Soul Roots. Atlas Grind, is said to be the most quintessential R&B/Soul/HipHop Artist, to appear on the music scene in quite sometime since the Talented R.Kelly, Babyface, the Great Smokey Robinson and the late Greats Marvin Gaye and Sam Cooke. Atlas is not only a very talented Singer, but he is also a very talented self-contain Songwriter, Arranger and Producer. His musical influences growing up as a kid was the late Great Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Jodeci, Boyz 2 Men, and Usher. Atlas Grind is an entertainer, singer, songwriter and performer, he has graced many stages across the United States. This Ohio native moved to Atlanta, with his loving church going parents Mr. and Mrs. Davis along with his siblings they found a love for music at a young age, they formed a family trio known as Trilogy. They had such an electric presence about themselves, their shows left audiences in awe..., but soon school would separate the brothers, however Atlas Grind would eventually go solo. Atlas moved to Florida where he studied Music, Studio Production and Recording Engineering. There in the dirty south is where Atlas Grind mastered his music production and engineering skills. After his studies in Florida, Atlas move to Iowa and worked with various indie production companies as a Ghost Writer and Producer. At one recording session, the singer did not show up, so Atlas Grind was forced to use his singing skills so the studio time would not go to waste and the rest is history. He has not stop recording and singing since then. Atlas release several Mix Tapes on the streets on Iowa and the buzz was Crazy. All the local Rappers and Singers wanted to be on his next Mix Tapes releases. In less than 12 months Atlas was the go to man for Hit Productions and underground Mix Tapes Sales and Live Shows. "Atlanta is where I mastered my music skills, but in Iowa is where I found my true talent", Atlas Grind. Atlas Grind released over 10 underground albums in 4 years, selling over 300,000 mix tapes / cds independently out the trunk of his car. In various markets: Iowa, Ohio, Chicago, St. Louis, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Detroit, and Las Vegas. Atlas Grind also performed live shows in those same markets monthly. Atlas created a strong underground street buzz, and his music landed into the hands of several New York City Music Executives, but Danger Zone Records offer him the best and a very fair Deal.
