BIOGRAPHY Young D.A., also known as Derrick Deshawn Holland from Detroit, Michigan. Since childhood music was YoungDA first love and passion. Writing music was his passion after school, which later he converted into radio ready music. Entering high school at the Academy of Michigan music began to become more of a lifestyle. Incorporating metaphors, experiences, and real life into his music made his ability to rap on a higher level. YoungDA quickly grasped the understanding of music as an art and took advantage of his paintbrush. After graduating high school his first recording experience where his talents for singing inside the booth became a true raw passion. At that point knew he wanted to be in front of the fans performing his music in front of Detroit fans. Young D.A. fan-base across Michigan and other markets have expanded year by year with fans now supporting his music movement international now. ACCOMPLISHMENTS -Young D.A. has opened for a few mainstream artists such as Young Buck, Bone Thugs & Harmony, and DMX -On the line-up for the Underground Summer Jam, taking place July 29th 2012 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Its hosted by DJ Prince. -Created his own music label called Music of Business after realizing that music was his future direction and becoming successful was his goals.Several of his music have been feature on ITunes and Amazon. GOALS Music is a lifestyle Derrick eats, sleeps, and breathes. He is creating an image for himself to set apart from other music artists in this industry. Making music that people inspire people, or can simply enjoy is a wonderful feeling and always a motive into making more music. YoungDA have open for R Prophet of Nappy Roots on the WALE Florida mixtape tour and have headline concerts in Florida, Portland,New York, Ohio and several other markets in the United States.
