Dirty Harvard's sound is known for there out of this world unmatched musical blending styles. DHVRD music has their hearts in Indie Rock, POP, Funk, Hip Hop, R&B and while being so diverse in all styles the streets deemed them the KINGs of this new HOOD POP genre type of sound they created. Dirty Harvard continuously delivers their feel good, empowering, energetic live performances to audiences everywhere while using other musicians to allow for a more full musical balance to the music in the live performances.
The duo's captivating, high-energy performances transport audiences into a universal experience as Dirty Harvard blends lyrical creativity, musicianship, and improvisation. “It’s an experience that lasts a lifetime” in the words of an eloquent fan, as the Dirty Harvard duo interacts with the audience.
This is a duo that knows how to entertain! Audience members have described Dirty Harvard as having “excellent musicianship combined with entertaining showmanship,” “upbeat music with catchy lyrics that make people of all walks of life want to sing and dance along,” “high energy with a feel-good vibe,” and “a tribal experience.”
Dirty Harvard established their name from a show performance in Los Angeles, CA. Lead vocalist BIZ, wore a Harvard sweater that was rough looking. He was asked "what is the name of the duo/band?" He looked down at his sweater and said "Dirty Harvard" and the crowd started chanted Dirty Harvard throughout the night. What an organic experience.
The Dirty Harvard had become so when Biz decided to join forces with like-minded musician and producer Rix-Melody as they kept running into each other gigging with other bands and doing session work in Los Angeles, CA..
Ever-evolving, the duo also peppers in several original compositions and fans appreciate what they’ve called a “clever and eclectic repertoire” and “a great laundry list of standards that patrons of all ages can enjoy!”
