One of the most exciting new voices in R&B is Vineland, New Jersey based singer/songwriter Kashay Mone. Coming from a rich family heritage of music, Kashay Mone continues that tradition with her vintage yet fresh sound. Starting music traditionally in the church at the age of 14, joining gospel group 'Big Moe and All United' of which her uncle Maurice Jones (Big Moe) was group leader. By age 17 she left gospel, and pursue her passion of songwriting in the traditional RnB world. At the age of 22 she was involved in screen plays, performing arts, and more. It is at that stage in her life she decided to create her own identity and brand. Kashay Mone introduction to the music world is her debut single ' A Piece Of Me' which is also the title of her forthcoming EP. Her release is in partnership with Daryl Howard (of the crtically acclaimed Jersey soul group,The Nu'rons) of New Jersey based indie label Star Corner Records. Kashay Mone music takes its production cues from traditional R&B with a authentic and fresh new sound at the same time. Kashay Mone is here to create music that entertains, inspires, and encourages all to live their dream.
