Ruben Pachetty aka DJ Ruben is a DJ producer of electro house music, born in Mauritius, he started mixing since 1999 until now. His first appearance in local clubs began in 2003, since he has made his merry way and he is still an active DJ till now. He plays House and Electro music and mainly mainstream. Step by step he was ambitious to become a confirmed resident DJ and successfully accomplish. Fresh Club - 2004 Saxo Night Club - 2005 Arena Private Club - 2006 AG22 - 2012 Les Enfants Terrible - 2014 Le Bar et Vous - 2018 And guest DJ as from 2004 to 2019 Queen’s Club,Twenty One Twenty Two, Keops, God Father, Insomnia, ZanzibarMahe (Reunion Island), Safari (Mauritius/Rodrigues), Avant-garde, Suffren, OMG, Alkatraz and indoors & outdoors events. His dream was to work in the music industry; in 2006 he got the opportunity to work for the first private Radio in Mauritius (Radio One) as sound engineer and resident Dj till now. He co-hosts DJ&CO on Saturday Night, where he invites local and international djs to play live set on Radio. He played alongside many international DJs such as Ministry Of Sound's Fatal Woman, Jack De Marseille, Kenny Hawkes, Miss Paulette, Fafa Monteco, Didier Sinclair, Simon Kaind, David Guetta, Major Lazer, David Vendetta, Nick Bridges, Dailey Padley, Da Hool, Artistic Raw, Oxia, Remady, DJane Joly, Djane Litchi,Djane She Devil and many other Djs. He participated in various DJ competitions mainly DJ Academy 2004 edition with more than hundred participant where he was selected among the top 20 djs which is a great achievement. In 2018 he was honoured to be part of the Gold Mix 2018 DJ Competition alongside most demanding djs in Mauritius namely Shehzad K, Tony Montana, She Devil for the finals where public has voted for him he reached the third place. Nowadays he is the resident of Le Bar et Vous and also a freelance Dj. He played for the most demanding festival of the island along side local djs and an international djane The Sunburn Beach Festival. His wish is to participate in an international event abroad where he can represent his island as a professional Dj.
