Ben Dragon is an LA-based DJ and producer whose origins lie in the world's most vivrant music meccas. Born in Chicago, he was influenced by the sound of the early house pioneers and later in London where house music flourished during his childhood. In Los Angeles, he was surrounded by a wide spectrum of sonic art which helped him to shape his unique approach to music. You can hear this in his sound as he effortlessly crafts timeless melodies and infectious grooves that defy musical boundaries--a hot new bassy fusion of classic house & techno elements with a myriad of musical influences including west-coast hip-hop/R&B, pop, funk, and soul from their golden eras. He began his music career in recording studios around LA learning and working on music with Grammy-award winning producers, songwriters, artists, and engineers. After gaining experience producing music for many artists in the music industry he began to shift focus onto his passion for house music. Since that time, he's quickly managed to turn heads globally and has landed on the watchlist of many influential people in the music game. He founded his own imprint “Fire To My Ears” in 2015 and his first debut releases have already been featured on iTunes, Beatport, and Juno Records and have garnered massive support from highly influential soundcloud channels, radio stations, online publications, seminal house record labels and DJs around the world. His 2016 summer single "House Party" reached #1 on the Hypeddit Tech House Charts and his music has been featured on Complex, Soundplate, Digital DJ Pool, Soundspace, Housebootlegs, and several other blogs. He’s gained the support of well known DJ’s including Blakkat and Bass Kleph with regular rotation on Dash Radio and AMW.FM (Amsterdam's Most Wanted House Radio). He is a rare talent comfortable performing as a headliner for several underground house events in LA and Las Vegas to major international venues including Skye and Hive in the Philippines club district. His movement landed him on the official lineup for Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) Festival 2016 where he performed for international party-goers at the iconic house music hotspot Club NL and the AMW.FM DJ Marathon. His debut EP “SEXXX TAPE” is set for release in December along with an upcoming remix of Juliet Mendoza's hit-record "My City" to be released on Shaboom Records. Fellow producers can also look forward to a “Studio Essentials” deep tech bass house sample pack he produced for Zenhiser later this year.
