Some may know me as the warmhearted, outspoken, energetic DJ from 107.5. For the ones who grew up with me, know that I am that and much more. Growing up in Detroit, M.I in a generation where poverty, school drop outs, and murders are on the rise; being young and striving for excellence is not the norm. Graduating in 2006 I chose to go to Eastern Michigan to major in Secondary Education Math. Realizing that my dream was bigger than a traditional class room, I began to perfect my craft of being a DJ. I performed at high schools, and neighborhood events all over the city. Now working for Hot 107.5 is not just my dream, but Detroit’s dream. I take pride in knowing that I’m the voice of the city, giving hope that someone can overcome adversity, and use it as motivation just as I have.
