Kristopher Carey, formerly known as Bastian King, is a mysterious, melodic and nostalgic vocalist/ songwriter who has created some of the most relatable underground R&B music of the year. Breaking into the industry in 2015 as “Bad News Bastian” a lead host for the radio show, “Under the Influence,” Kris' career has quickly grown at his very young age of 23 as he is known for hosting and producing many events in the Houston and Fort Worth area. With ample life experiences, a notepad, a pen and the assistance of Teddy Riley’s former vocal engineer, Kris transformed a love story into an extraordinary EP titled, “Addicted, Vol. 1.” Addicted, Vol. 1 took lead on ReverbNation as #1 on the R&B Chart in Texas for over 3 months while being his first ever professionally recorded studio album. “Love Sounds,” is the most popular underground R&B hit to be released from this EP.
