Lil Varnado is an aspiring HipHop and R&B artist, and was born and raised in Brookhaven, a small city in the Lincoln County of Mississippi. Home, for Lil Varnado, was the place where he grew up – the streets. The condition and struggles of the rapper were not uncommon in the neighborhood which was infested with crime, poverty and drugs. Luckily, Lil Varnado got out of the mess before it was too late. He belonged to a lower middle class family, so mediocrity was normalcy, and most of his adolescent years were spent struggling to make ends meet and playing ball with his friends in the neighborhood in his free time. His mother worked as a school teacher while his father worked at a chicken plant. Lil Varnado chose to start a career in music at the cost of leaving behind his dream to become a professional footballer. The inspiration to become a rapper was an older friend who was a freestyler.
