Dj Lo (Los Angeles, CA) Born and raised in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, Dj Lo grew up in the North Hollywood area (NoHo) where he was motivated and inspired by hip hop, deep house, and free style vibes. At the age of 15, he created his own mixed tape by recording samples off the radio and re recording those samples in various orders to create a unique blend of music. His first gig involved him using a pair of home stereo speakers and two CD player walk men. Right after that first gig, the rush and adrenaline he got from having people move and feel the same energy as he did for music inspired him to pursue Dj’ing further. Dj Lo then began placing YouTube videos of his mixes on line which helped him gain further recognitions and visibility. His current YouTube channel has generated over twenty thousand views and Dj Lo always enjoys sharing Dj tips and styles with all those who love music. Within the last five years, Dj Lo was able to network with various promoters in the San Fernando Valley and Hollywood to create residencies and guest Dj spots in the Los Angeles and Ventura County areas. He currently works the SF Valley Lounges, Ventura County Bars, and Hollywood Clubs and strives to give people on the dance floor a unique experience through his passion for music.
