Slick Billionaire aka Blu aka Blueprint is a local musician and producer in Boston.Blu is the epitome of professionalism, and has earned stripes in the hood for his unorthodox production style which blends bold, bangin' beats with catchy, soulful and funk-field bass and keys akin to some of the greatest producers of the latter and former's era. Though the Roxbury musician leans back to allow rappers and emcees to breathe on hot beats created by the maestro, Blu listens with a sharp ear and can detect a true emcee when he hears one. Being co-founder and emcee in one of Boston's most prolific crews of the 80's, The BK Crew, Blu knows his stuff. The BK Crew wrote, produced and performed some of the hottest routines of the eighties’ and garnered support from not only the hood, but the sticks, as well. Prior to his membership in Boston's elite rap group.Blu continues to switch the style up on today's production sound and gives New England producers an edge up on the national competition with a style that transcends all genres.
