Famous Records Universal Music Group/Fontana Ingroove DeVon De'pree Henderson also known as Von Dupree was born December 31st, 1990. Though he didn't begin writing music until he was 18, his musical talent began early on singing in church as a kid, and playing the piano for numerous competitions and recitals! He grew up being influenced by Missouri, and North Carolina culture, growing up seeing the street life early on, then to suburban surroundings striving to live right. He was strong minded on Faith, and believed that he will be successful without selling drugs, committing robberies, or doing the illegal tactics he saw early in his life bringing that positive message forth in his music. Though he was not a fan of the school system he still finished high school, and was accepted into North Carolina Central University. After beginning college in 2009, indecisive about whether to continue playing Division | College Football, or to pursue a career in something he felt a fire inside for, he completed two years of college. After college Von Dupree went on tour through states such as, Virginia, New York, as well as shows in his own state of North Carolina sharing God's Word in his message bringing a dynamic, unique, and new flavor to the people! While on tour he pursued taking a tech course, receiving a certificate in BioWorks Biotechnology. He has since released a collage of mixtapes, and has continued performing, interviewing, and making appearances at various locations! His new mixtape "HIStory" was released Sept. 2nd, 2014 all across the internet, stating not his story, but God's story for him! On February 17th, 2015 Von Dupree signed a Major Music Distribution Record Deal as an independent artist! With the music videos, constant work of being an independent artist, and most importantly his faith in God, this story is only the beginning for Von Dupree.
